👀 You don’t actually know who I am (let me fix that)

Hi Reader!

You may have been getting my emails for years or days. Either way, I want to reintroduce myself to you. In world where AI is taking over our brains, it can be easy to lose track of who you are hearing from. So here’s a little about me.

I’m Daniela.

You may have met me when I did a reading for you at an event or fair, found me through my writing, or downloaded one my Notion templates.

I’m an elder millennial (yes I went to see the BSB at the Sphere)

I’m a mom to a fiery little girl (she has 4 planets in Aries)

An obsessed dog mom

And a nerd who consumes epic fantasy series like a 2nd grader eats candy corn on Halloween. (Incidentally, I consume astrology courses the same way.)

I’m also a life coach, a grad school student in counseling at Naropa University, and a business owner who’s been doing this entrepreneurial thing since 2011.

When I write “life coach,” it’s because that’s the most used word for supporting people to grow, but I really think of myself more as a trail guide or life navigator – someone who walks beside you on the toughest parts of your journey and helps you look at the map and carry your pack.

My unusual skills include great parking karma, remembering birthdays, validating emotions, and staying calm in a crisis. Oh, and coming up with playful, intuitive ways to help my clients befriend themselves, have unexpected breakthroughs, and feel more connected to their purpose.

I do 1:1 coaching (aka life navigating) and sell Notion templates to help people learn tarot and astrology.

I’ll be sending weekly emails about befriending yourself. Some of them will have personal stories, some will have astrology connections or teach astrological concepts, and some will include insights about tarot. But the core will always come back to self-love and self-trust, because that’s what I think matters most.

A few promises about my emails:

1. They will never be written by AI or using a template. They’re all me, my voice, and my lived experiences and/or ideas.

2. They will always be honest.

3. I may overuse parentheses (but I don’t apologize for it 😉).

I am really glad you’re here and that you actually opened and read this email. Thank you! Also, I want to get to know you too (like, for real).

Hit Reply and share your astrology sign and a TV show you’ve been obsessed with lately. (I’ve been binge watching Couples Therapy recently. But my favorite TV show of all time is The Wire.)

Talk soon, Daniela

P.S. All of my emails also include a bonus tarot pull at the end!

🎴 This Week's Tarot Pull:

We just experienced the summer solstice in the Northern Hemisphere. The longest days of the year...and a time when we're slowly moving toward more darkness.

I've always wondered why Cancer season happens now. Cancer is about home and going within. And this time of year feels like a time when we're more out and about than ever. Maybe Cancer season is the reminder we need to give ourselves permission to go within.

Befriending the Zodiac

I’m a coach who uses tarot and astrology to help self-doubters transform their relationship with themselves so that they can stop playing small and create the life they want. I believe that tarot and astrology are a ton of fun…and when you use them on a regular basis, they are truly powerful catalysts to creating the life you want. I write about how I use these tools in my life on a daily basis.

Hi Reader! What comes up for you when you read the words “inner child”? When I think of my inner child, I first imagine a little girl, sitting on the playground under the play structure, watching the other kids play and feeling sad and left out. A lot of my “inner child work” involves sitting on the gravel with little Daniela and telling her that I’m with her and I love her. (Being a Scorpio Moon, of course the first thing that comes up is the pain and challenge of being a kid in a small,...

Hi Reader! Yesterday, after feeling hurt by two people in my life, I wrote this sentence in my journal: I am done hiding. I started hiding as a kid. (And not in a hide and seek kind of way.) I ran away any time I had strong feelings that I didn’t know what to do with. Desire, fear, sadness, anger…any intense feeling was a reason to run. It was only decades later that I learned about my Scorpio Moon and began the slow (and still ongoing) process of befriending my deeply feeling self. You may...

Reader, what brings you pleasure? For me, it’s a hot cup of coffee in the morning, the feel of my dog’s soft fur under my hand, a tiny bouquet from the farmer’s market on the table. Pleasure is walking through an airport blasting Third Eye Blind in my AirPods, the knowledge of an upcoming adventure singing through my veins. Pleasure is crawling into bed and pulling the covers over my tired body after an exhausting day. Pleasure is pausing in the middle of a duet with my daughter and watching...
